The textbook strategies every platform hands you — RSI, EMA cross, MACD and the rest. They're here as neutral starting points: load one, run it against real market conditions, and see the honest verdict for yourself. Most textbook setups don't survive an out-of-sample test — better to learn that here than with real money.

A template is a hypothesis, not a product.
Forking one starts a research question, and the engine answers it the same way for a textbook RSI cross as it would for a strategy a desk spent a year on. Nothing about being shipped by us buys a template a softer test.
Your history is cut by time — fit, select, then a sealed slice touched exactly once. Numbers from the part it was fitted to are labelled a rehearsal and carry no promise.
Spread, commission and slippage come off first, at the levels your instrument actually trades at. A strategy that only works gross is one that only works on paper.
Where a single bar held both your stop and your target, finer data decides the order where it exists — and where it does not, the stop is assumed.
That is the intended outcome, not a failure of the template. Learning that a famous setup does not survive an honest test is worth more than a curve that flatters it.
Are the starter templates profitable?
Most textbook setups do not survive an honest out-of-sample test, and these are here so you can establish that for yourself rather than take our word for it. They are neutral starting points to fork and adapt, not products we are claiming an edge for.
Do I own a strategy I forked from a template?
Yes. Forking copies it into your workspace and it becomes yours to edit, test, export and deploy. It is not a licence you rent, and we do not take a share of anything it makes.
Do you trade these strategies yourselves?
No. We do not manage money, run a fund, or trade any strategy in the library. We are paid for testing capacity, which is why the engine has no reason to flatter a result.
Can I bring a strategy I already run?
Yes — MetaTrader experts, TradingView Pine scripts and Python files import, and you approve the translation before anything is measured. An imported strategy is graded to exactly the same standard as one built here.
What is the difference between the starter and advanced templates?
Starters are the classic indicator setups. The advanced set is structure-aware — sweeps, flipped levels, range edges, session and regime filters — and is unlocked on Ultimate. Both are starting points you fork and own; neither comes with a performance claim.
